GitHub has introduced a new Enterprise Cloud model that gives every Enterprise-licensed user access to Copilot Enterprise features and models without a separate Copilot seat. Monthly AI credits are not included: usage is billed from the first request against the enterprise budget. Developers without an Enterprise license can receive the same access through Copilot Standalone for $10 per user per month.
Code completion and next edit suggestions continue working when the budget runs out; Copilot Chat, code review, and Copilot in the cloud require available budget. Setup and migration are available through a GitHub or Microsoft account team. Self-service signup is not yet available, and existing self-service subscriptions are unchanged. Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise remain available to purchase.
