Starting October 31, 2026, developers selling paid apps or using Apple In-App Purchase on the Taiwan App Store storefront for iOS and iPadOS will see the standard commission fall from 30% to 26%. The four-percentage-point reduction applies to that storefront and the standard rate.
Developers do not need to sign the updated terms by October 31 to receive the reduction from that date. Apple has revised its Developer Program License Agreement; developers can accept the terms in their accounts, and translations will appear within one month. Apple announced the changes following discussions with the Taiwan Fair Trade Commission.
