Developers publishing packages through PyPI organizations can now upload files of up to 200 MB, up from 100 MB. The total storage allowance per project has increased from 10 GB to 20 GB. Uploads within these limits no longer require a request to raise the standard allowance.
The change applies automatically to projects owned by company or community organizations, including projects transferred into an organization later. Projects leaving an organization return to personal limits: 100 MB per file and 10 GB per project.
Previously approved increases remain valid: PyPI applies whichever limit is higher. Both personal and organization projects can still request further increases through support. The announcement also mentions a pre-existing allowance of 10 new projects per day for organizations.
