About the project

Glowline controls monitor backlighting from the macOS menu bar. In screen mode, the LED strip follows the colors along the screen edges. Static lighting and effects do not require screen capture.

Requirements: an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 15 or later, a Skydimo SK0L34 USB controller and a fixed 112-LED layout. Intel Macs and other controllers are not supported.

Release 1.1.0 is available as ZIP and DMG downloads. Screen mode requires macOS screen recording permission. The build is ad-hoc signed and not notarized by Apple; see the installation guide for first-launch instructions.

Settings are stored locally. The source code is available under the MIT license. Glowline is an independent project, not an official Skydimo application.
